Kristi has built her career around movement, performance and teaching. She began dancing at five and trained across disciplines ranging from ballet and jazz to salsa, bachata and other Latin styles.
Her competitive career includes three World Championship titles between 2015 and 2018 and more than a dozen Australian titles across salsa, bachata, cha cha and samba. She has trained, performed and taught throughout Europe, the United States and Asia as a featured artist, while coaching dancers from first steps through to high-level performance.
Fitness and movement
Fitness has long been part of that story. Kristi completed her Certificate III and IV in Fitness in 2009 and spent years teaching Zumba and other group fitness classes. That combination of dance, fitness and coaching experience gives her a detailed understanding of movement, body awareness, motivation and the importance of making training feel rewarding.
Her teaching style is energetic, encouraging and attentive to the person in front of her. It draws on years spent helping people develop confidence in their bodies – not only for competition or performance, but for everyday life.
Coaching focus
Through Xtreme Rebuild, Kristi is developing a practical pathway for women and mums who want to rebuild strength, mobility and confidence around the realities of family and work. Her own experience of motherhood adds an important real-life perspective: progress has to work around changing energy, competing responsibilities and a body that may feel different from before.
Her approach is supportive and technically informed, with an emphasis on sustainable progress rather than extremes.
